Bible Journaling – Genesis 6-12
Bible Journaling – Genesis 6-12
More Genesis Bible Journaling.
I might be slightly OCD and have the need to complete even art projects in order. Â Therefore, I bible journal from beginning to end. Â My mom got me started on this journaling journey. Â I admit I was resistant to color in a bible, reminiscing on times that I would get in trouble for coloring in anything but a coloring book!
This awesome pin inspired me to do a drawing at the beginning of Genesis.  I combined it with this one. A little coloring at the first of a biblical book that summarizes what’s in the book is always fun.  This sometimes is a compilation of little drawings or further descriptions about the assumed author.  Either way it makes me happy to color a whole page instead of a bookmark size on the side.

I use the Micron Pens and these colored pencils are the very best choice.
Genesis 6
For the Genesis 6:19 two by two portion of the verse inspired me, as well as some googled cartoon monkeys. Â Although more than two of each animal entered the ark, I like the typical depiction of two by two. Â It is reminiscent of couples to me, which makes my heart happy! They also look a bit like precious moments animals.

Genesis 8
Next, Noah sent out the dove as noted, signified found land. Â A swirly dove can be used in several bible journalings that I stowed away for future use.

Genesis 9:16
Then, God’s promise inspired by the rainbow. This pin put the idea in my mind. Â There are a lot of symbols of promise but this is my favorite.

I pretty much replicated this drawing for my tower of Babel. Â It is strange to think that until this uprising, all people spoke the same language and could understand each other. Â That will be nice in heaven!

In conclusion, I’m still really enjoying this bible journaling!
