Cord Keeper Tutorial
Follow this cord keeper tutorial and make some or 20! So many cords everywhere! It was time to get them under control. So what did I do? I ordered my new favorite tool, a Kam Snap Kit. Y’all, this is seriously so stinkin’ cool. I made 20 of them for stocking stuffers this year. They are so easy.

Cutting for Cord Keeper Tutorial
(See alternative method below) (You will still need to make a pattern using below measurements)

Computer Cables cut material and interfacing – 2 1/2″ x 6″
Extension Cords cut material and interfacing – 2 1/2″ x 8″
Watch my YouTube video if you are a visual learner:
Construction
Press the interfacing to the wrong side of one piece.
Round the corners.
Pin together.
Put fabric right sides together.
Sew 1/4″ seam allowance around cord keeper leaving an opening to turn.
Cut around stitching line with pinking shears, or just clip the corners.
Turn right side out through opening.
Push the corners out good.
Press, folding in the seam on the opening.
Stitch around the cord keeper 1/16″ to 1/8″ from edge. This closes the opening.
Alternatively
Once you make the pattern above. Draw 1/4″ inside the pattern and cut that out.
You can draw around the pattern and this will be your stitching line.
This made it easier to use scrap fabric without having to cut it out exactly.
Then follow the instructions above to sew.
Voila!
Now you are ready to add your Kam Snaps.
Follow the directions for adding the Kam Snaps that are included in the kit.
Way to go, you are awesome!!
